 I have never read anything on suicide before, but this story was one of the most painful things I have ever read. I could truly feel the raw emotion as I read the personal journal the author kept, written on a day-by-day basis, soon after her brother’s death. The deep love that the author and her brother Gary had for one another is unquestionable: she describes her experience with a strong spiritual bent. For anyone contemplating suicide, someone who has lost a loved one by suicide, or just about anyone who has lost someone they care about, this book is a must-read. Author's Note: In 2008 Richard's sister, Sonia, took her own life. This was after Richard wrote the above for me.  Richard's inspiring story will touch the heart of anyone who reads it......his mother was the first victim of the Yorkshire Ripper.
