So what is this site all about? It's a mix of suicide, grief, depression, illness (oh stop you are depressing me!) and then it's all about overcoming grief, living life, loving life, loving self, inspiration, motivation and achieving goals.

Who is this author with the Seemingly Sane life?

A bit about this website

Be warned you may find the first part of this website very emotional and depressing - that's because it is. The point of it is, I have gone through all this and come out the other end, a very happy and motivated person. I love life! I really do! Often I walk through Sydney CBD and I look at people, not many of them smile, most look really miserable. Me, I walk around with a constant smile, I'm sure people look at me sometimes and wonder where I have escaped from! The reason I walk around with a smile is because most of the time I am thinking thoughts of gratitude. That is the secret of happiness.  I have a lot to be grateful for. Just recently I watched a very attractive girl on the train.  I could not take my eyes off her, she was beautiful. However, she was blind and her faithful Seeing Eye Dog was lying at her feet. She was young, probably about the age of my eldest daughter, 18 I would say.  The reason I could not take my eyes off her was I thought I grateful I was I could see, how grateful my children can see. Yes, I have so much to be grateful for. Yet, this lovely young girl looked so self-assured. I could not help but wonder what was going on in her mind.

Going back to this website. The site was developed after I wrote a book called Seemingly Sane, and rather than   publish it through print, I thought I would publish on a website. I did not write the book to make money, I wrote it in hope that it saves just one life, I hope it gives comfort to people who have lost someone to suicide, I hope I may inspire someone who has a serious illness, I hope it helps people with depression and I hope I may inspire someone who has lost everything and has to start again.

And once you have read all the pages. I hope you can start your journey knowing that with the right mindset, you can overcome and achieve whatever you really want.

Life is too short! Live every day with joy!
